Spirit Rush is a couch co-op battle arena game based on capturing objectives before your opponent to win. Players have abilities that they can use to hinder their opponents progress and use to get ahead including: freeze, spirit block, spirit bomb and spirit dash. The player who captures their assigned shrines (objectives) first completes the ritual and opens a portal (final goal) to the next realm to win. Spirit Rush was developed in a team of seven where I worked as a programmer and team manager of six developers. Requires two XBOX controllers to play.

The year is 2754 AD. You are the pilot of the prototype spacecraft codename GUARDIAN. The ship has no conventional weaponry, and is instead fitted with humanity’s first kinetic energy shield. Normally used as a defensive device, the shield can also cause tremendous damage when used aggressively by an experienced pilot. Guardian Shield was built for the Ludum Dare 48 hour competition for the theme: An Unconventional Weapon. This was my first attempt at making an infinite runner, and using vector graphics with Inkscape.
About Scavenger is an action platformer where you play a lone survivor, searching underground for food and supplies. It has now been a year since the overworld was bombarded to an uninhabitable state, a reaction to a worldwide zombie outbreak. The only way to stay alive is to live underground. But beware, for that is also where the zombie plague has survived this nuclear winter… Scavenger was my first attempt at a game jam, and Ludum Dare. The game was completed for the 48 competition. |

Tanker is a survival game where the player controls a lone tank that must defend against waves of different tanks as long as possible. This is my first game developed in C++ using the SFML graphics libraries. For me it is mainly meant to be an educational experience but hopefully it will become something that other survival game fans may enjoy. The game features custom tile maps that can be changed directly from a text file, randomised A* path generation for AI and custom ray casting to detect line of sight.
About Firelight is a procedurally-generated survival/strategy/management game, set in a mysterious world covered in perpetual darkness. In this world, light is power. With more light you will attract more survivors bolster your group. However beware, for with more light you will attract greater threats. Monsters of darkness look to consume your light, and without light you will be lost to the darkness. Firelight is inspired by games like Rimworld and Don’t Starve, with smaller inspiration from 7 Days to Die, Minecraft and Starcraft. Firelight is still in development. |
